Really, what is so appealing about this diet anyway? Is it the quick, no exercise, eat what you want, and lose X amount of weight in 4 weeks? Check out Dr. Oz’s Miracle Diet http://www.drozmiracle.com/. All you do is eat Acai berry pills and a person loses all this weight. Hmmm…its quick…no exercise…eat what you want…and lose X amount of weight in 4 weeks? “Dr Oz…are you friggin kidding me?” Oprah should be ashamed of herself. If you’ve seen “the Biggest Loser” you’ll find that NO ONE takes a pill and loses weight. Now, that show is extremely high endurance for seriously de-conditioned people and not for everyone. My point is, healthy body weight takes life long management. Oh…by the way, Acai berry suppresses the appetite so by not eating you lose weight. “That’s just dumb Dr. Oz.”
Next time, more about this "miracle" diet.

hmm, the link didn't seem to have anything to do with what Dr. Oz actually says.

ReplyDeleteGood job "iotkol" you get a gold star!
ReplyDeleteThere are numerous ads with his name on it promoting the Acai Berry diet all over the world wide web. As far as the touted millions of "dieting consumers" who've supposedly tried his miracle diet are concerned, he said it. This is my point, you have a celebrity doctor influencing the masses and nobody researches what the doctor actually says or what the product really does. Did you know that the Acai Berry is irradiated (yup radiation!) before entering America and is flash pasteurized (160-165 degrees F for 15-30seconds)? This means so much of its "super goodness" has potential to be destroyed or aldultered. So essentially you're actually buying an impotent not so super super food. I've been researching the wonderful wizard called Oz, he may be a brilliant surgeon but he's blowing it as a health guru. This is only my perception of his ability as a health promoter. Come back soon to see my next post of what he says next about olive oil and vinegar dressing.
