Research Before Action

Today, a close friend and esteemed colleague schooled me on Dr Oz. It turns out the ads for Dr Oz’s Miracle Diet are fake. Yes, it's true, Dr Oz does agree the Acai Berry is a super food. However, he is NOT recommending it as a replacement for a balanced diet and exercise as a means of weight loss and keeping it off as the ads suggest. “Sorry, Dr O my bad.” Did you know he obtained a joint MD and MBA? Nice mix of degrees; business and medicine.

I couldn’t believe in my heart of hearts that America’s sweetheart doctor was really behind those ads for the Acai Berry Miracle Diet. Well, I'm glad to find out he isn't. If you're interested in any diet, make sure you research the author and product(s) if any. Because you never know what quackery someone might be selling you.
